Antelope Island

Antelope Island State Park
Antelope Island is located in the heart of metropolitan Utah, yet the environment has been spared the changes of urbanization.  A herd of 600 bison roam the island and millions of shore birds rely on the briny lake waters.  We invite you to view wildlife in their natural habitat.

Undoubtedly the best place to experience the Great Salt Lake is from Antelope Island State Park.  Magnificent white sandy beaches beckon to swimmers and non-swimmers alike.  Truly a unique tourist destination, recreational activities abound - from floating in the Great Salt Lake and watching wildlife, to bicycling, rollerblading and hiking.  Whether you visit for an hour or a day, you experience the contrasts of the Great Salt Lake.

Antelope Island is located seven miles west of I-15 Exit #332 on State Highway 108.   Overnight Camping is available for a nominal fee. For reservations or information call Antelope Island State Park (801) 773-2941 or (801) 550-6165.

Fee charged: $9 per vehicle, $4 per walker/biker
