The Davis County Library Board of Directors is charged in Utah Law with
responsibility for public library service. Members of the Board of
Directors are responsible for planning, establishing policy, hiring the
administration staff, preparing the budget, authorizing expenditures, and
monitoring the overall operation of the library. The Board consists of
seven members. Six board members are appointed by the Davis County
Commission for a four year term and may be reappointed to a second four
year term. The seventh member of the board is a Davis County Commissioner.
The Board of Directors meets on the third Tuesday of the month at 8:00 a.m.
in Room # 114, Davis County Courthouse, 28 South
State Street, Farmington, Utah.
