Collection: 56,222 items (as of December 2005)

Construction began on the Syracuse Northwest Branch in the fall of 2002. The branch was opened in August of 2003. The new branch opened with a collection of approximately 30,000 items within 5 years the collection is projected to increase to 65,000 items. The collection will focus on high demand items like children's books, best-sellers, books-on-tape, videos, and so forth.
