Every year the Davis County Library system provides an outstanding Summer Reading Program intended to help encourage your child to read during the summer and to enjoy being at the library. Every year the program has a theme, this year's program has an animal theme under the title "Paws, Claws, Scales and Tales!"

Over the course of the Summer Reading Program, the various library branches will host a wide variety of fun activities and programs designed to entertain, educate, and motivate reading. The events are intended to focus on elementary age children, but will be of interest to people of all ages. Some events will occur at least once at every branch, others will only occur at specific branches. In the sections below, you will find a complete schedule of events, a schedule of events for each branch, and a flyer for each event.
